Song Description
A full-length demo, missing some vocals at the end. I gave up on this Songfight! entry late one Sunday night (Monday morning) after I accidentally destructively auto-tuned the heck out of the first verse. You'll know it when you hear it. Also the vocals were a bit out of my range, so there's some vocal strain too!
Lyrics
V1
Mandy's locked inside on trial
for publicly flashing a smile

Time passed.
Lady luck was smiling down in pride
while our group of protest formed outside

CHORUS

He's gone serious and dull. Can't he take a joke?
Call the hospital, this man's funny bone's broke.
Arm bananas and seltzer and pie, it's time for us to cause a laugh riot.

V2

Thanks to humorous retorts
we laughed her fully out of court

At last, she addressed the crowd and amply gave her thanks
She led us laughing all the way to the bank

CHORUS

He's gone serious and dull. Can't he take a joke?
Call the hospital, this man's funny bone's broke.
Please put him in stitches, till he cries
It's time for him to laugh
So make him laugh riiiiiiiiiiiight
Make him laugh riot
