Song Description
Referencing the title, I used mostly instruments that I bought at Goodwill. The ending has scratch lyrics that should have been scratched.

It's about changing someone into being someone else. A bit deeper and more serious than the standard Cow-Exchange fare, but if I'm allowed to imagine goofy stuff, why not a serious song for a change? :) This guy didn't get submitted to the Songfight! fight.
Lyrics
I hear her voice but I never see her
It's speaking like mine, but mine rings deeper
Hollow cells and racquetballs make for great returns
Echoing the choruses to songs I never learned

I feel her pain because it's all I know
Absorbing gradually, silencing the motives
It's kind of funny how she threw herself at me
Gave herself so selfishly

She gave up her baggage and her brutality
She gave up smoking... yeah, she gave it to me.
She like me more and more when my self isn't found
Now I'm looking good in hand-me-downs

I've seen a lot of friends go
I still see them, passing by
I've seen a lot of friends go
I still see them

I've been them
